Mary Ann's Story
As a good person who just had a little too much fun back in the day. Either that or they forget those crazy days altogether.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
Spending time on my boat
I live in Scituate, love it here. I wanted to live near the beach.
My biggest surprise was getting an unbelievable book deal with Bantam Books (my first book was published in May 2008). It's called "Is Your Child Bipolar: The Definitive Resource on How to Identify, Treat and Thrive with a Bipolar Child"
I have my dream home and have done all the remodeling that I wanted to.

lped me a lot during my high school years.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 50% of it to charity, then spend the rest on my kids, a new boat and trip around the world.
I am getting my PhD and teaching at Northeastern in the Nursing program, plus I have a private practice in child psychiatry and run a nonprofit for kids with bipolar disorder. I have been very fortunate in my career and absolutely love what I do.
I would have worked my butt off in high school, gone straight to college and then medical school. I did things the hard way back then, kids first, school second but it all worked out in the long run!!
That I quit drinking in my early twenties and went back to college and became a bookworm!
